Merthyr Tydfil Borough Credit Union was formed in 1998, to provide a service offering safe convenient savings and affordable loans to those who live or work in the county borough. The Credit Union is able to offer loans to members who save on a regular basis. A £500 Credit Union Loan (26.82% APR) repaid over 52 weeks will cost you £63.53 in interest charges, the same loan from a door-to-door lender could cost you £410* in interest charges, that is a saving of up to £347! * (Figures as at 6th July 2010) |

Your Credit Union now offers a Christmas Savers Account! You must apply to become a member and pay the £1 membership fee and open an ordinary Share 1 (savings) Account with a minimum deposit of £1.
